Obituary

Corinth - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of the wonderfully compassionate and loving Addison Elizabeth Jackson, who touched the lives of many during her short time with us. Born on August 13, 2008, in Bangor. Addison was a beacon of joy and love to all who knew her. She was a warm presence, always thoughtful and had a heart made of pure gold. Her kindness shone brightly in her actions and her words, making a difference in the lives of everyone she met. Addison was an exceptional student, earning High Honors last year, a testament to her dedication and hard work. Beyond her academic accomplishments, Addison had a beautiful, creative soul, which was evident in her love for arts and crafts, painting, crocheting, her eclectic taste in music, ranging from Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift to Five Finger Death Punch and My Chemical Romance. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life - cooking, baking, camping at Powderhorn campground in OOB, and playing mini golf on their annual family trips. She was her Mom's "wimpy ride" buddy at amusement parks, the best big and little sister, and a volunteer at the VFW in Dexter, where she helped the elderly enjoy Bingo. Although she loved fishing, she was a bit squeamish about touching the fish, a quirk that always brought a smile to our faces. At the core of Addison's world was her deep love for her family, friends, and her precious cats and dogs. She is survived by her loving parents, William and Amanda Beyenberg; her siblings, Natalie, Caitlyn, Kailey, Nicolas, Caleb; her grandparents, Nancy and Timothy Palardy, William and Diana Beyenberg; her grandfather, James Umble; her special Aunt Jessica Palardy and many other aunts, uncles and cousins that were near and dear to her heart. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Irene Umble; grandfather, Manny Contreras and her aunts, Casey and Jennifer. The loss of Addison is deeply felt by her family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. In her last moments Addison was also able to give the gift of life to others through organ donation. Her spirit and her love will remain in our hearts forever, and she will be missed deeply. We invite all who knew and loved Addison to join us in celebrating her life. Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 10:00AM – 12:00PM at Crosby & Neal Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, 117 Main Street, Newport, Maine, with a service at 12:00PM. Immediately following her graveside service, friends and family are welcome for continued time of fellowship and celebration of her life at Carter-Dulac Memorial VFW post 4298, 20 Cedar St. Dexter, Maine. We encourage you to share memories, stories, and photos of Addison on her memorial page. Every shared memory or photo is a testament to her beautiful life and the impact she had on those around her.
