CORINNA - Alan Corbin, 70, died unexpectedly May 7, 2022 at his residence. He was born July 10, 1951 in Dexter a son of James and Leah (Cloutier) Corbin. He graduated from Dexter Regional High School, Class of 1969 and the University of Maine Farmington with a bachelor's degree in Education.
Alan worked in the warehouse office of Dexter Shoe Company for 22 years, retiring from the F.D. department. He and his wife attended the High Street Congregational Church in Newport.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Glenda (Mason) Corbin of Corinna; 2 brothers, Kevin and wife Andrea of Hawaii and Jeff and wife Celia of CT; a sister, Michele Pomroy of Dexter; 3 grandchildren, Brittney White and companion Eric Savage, Cody and wife Amy, and Shaylyn; 1 great grandson Tristan; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, a daughter Ceressa Huntington, a sister Karen Corbin, great granddaughter Ellie Mae Savage and a brother-in-law Milton Pomroy.
A graveside committal service will be held at Corinna Center Cemetery at 11 A.M. Saturday, June 18th. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 51 U. S. Route 1, Suite M., Scarborough, ME 04074. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal.
