DEXTER--Amanda "Mandie" Kathleen Flagg Wilbur, 43, a star in our universe was unexpectedly taken from us on August 9, 2021. She was born February 24, 1978 in Dover-Foxcroft to her mother Lucille (Gustin) Irvin and father Clyde Merrill.
Mandie was a graduate of Dexter Regional High School, Class of 1996, where she was known as the first girl to play on the football team. She was immensely proud of this accomplishment and would share it with all who would listen. She was an avid member of BNI-Maine and loved her job as an insurance agent. She could always be found on an adventure, whether it be to the craft store, knee deep in mud, laying in the sun, or just at the lake for a day of fun.
She is survived by her dad, Russ Flagg; daughters, Andreja Marie Lupo and Jylian Jean Lupo; granddaughter, Juniper Kathleen Marie Watson; beloved cats, Tofu, Wasabi and Wonton; siblings, Lee Flagg, Casey Flagg, Alex Flagg, Heidi Lunden, Kyle Merrill, Floyd Merrill, Selena Fogg, Scott Pratt, and Jason Curtis; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; brother Larry Pratt; special aunt, Claudia "Caca" Davis, who was like a second mother to her; and her best friend Christina Torres-York.
A celebration of life open to all will be held on Saturday, September 4th, at a location to be determined.
Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
