Anita's cherished daughters; Lisa Varney of Manchester, New Hampshire, and Carolyn French (Fiancé Mike) (Father, Fred French and Fiancé Doris Clark of Tyngsboro, Massachusetts), of Lenox, Michigan. Grandchildren and great grandchildren: Jason & Miranda Paquette (Amber) Manchester, New Hampshire, Jonathan & Kate Sallee (Kori) Bellville, Ohio, Christopher & Shayna Lamb (Connor, Camden, Callie) Nashua, New Hampshire, Samantha & Mark Gagnon (Drake, Domnic, Ava) and Ashely Varney both of Manchester, New Hampshire and Jeffery French (Stepson), Elizabeth and family. She was loved by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends, Carol Sarette Northfield, New Hampshire, George Mathis of Newport, Maine, and Sue and Vern Saucier, Rumford, Maine. She will always be remembered as the loving and caring woman that she was. She loved the Lord with all her heart; she dedicated her life to her daughters and family. What she loved was helping others, especially the elderly and was so proud when she became a certified nurse's assistant. She blessed others with her talents of singing, playing the guitar, the spoons and keyboard. Her main gift was her insatiable sense of humor and laugh. She was a lover of all things Disney, drawing, coloring, animals, Betty Boop, the American Indian culture, everything about nature from the mountains, trees, lakes and especially the ocean. She loved walking on the beach, collecting shells and heart shaped rocks. Known for her salmon pies, baked spaghetti and pork chops and macaroni and cheese and she made pan fries like no other. She just loved the color red. She loved red roses, red clothes, red glasses - "no matter what color it is", she would say. We all are better to have had her in our lives – it is now our gift to carry the love she gave to those around us, to lend a hand, to give a smile and helping hand where needed. We love you to the moon and back – always and forever. The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to all the caring and dedicated staff of both Woodlands Senior Living of Brewer, Maine and Westgate Center for Rehabilitation and Alzheimer's Care in Bangor, Maine. Each of you embraced her through her journey and loved her as your own. The outstanding love and care you gifted Anita will never be forgotten.
