STETSON - Annette Smith, 79, died December 1, 2022 at her residence. She was born June 21, 1943 in Lebanon, NH, a daughter of Daniel and Mary (Spaulding) LaBelle. She attended Thomas College and also received her Maine Real Estate license. She was a past secretary of the Sidney Lion's Club. Annette was an avid hunter and member of the Big Bucks Club. She was a lifetime member of the NRA and will also be remembered as a cooking mentor. Annette is survived by 7 children, Aaron Stevens and wife Leslie of Pittsfield, Barbara Smith of Augusta, Stacy Castonguay and husband Kevin of Stetson, Stanley Smith, Jr. and wife Tee of NC, Thomas Stevens of Bangor, Charles Smith and wife Charlotte of TN, Yvette Feirce and husband Eric of WA; 4 siblings, Ellen Wood of NH, Timothy LaBelle, Joan Henault and husband William of NH, John LaBelle and wife Donna of MO; many loved grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley Ray Smith, her son Timothy Stevens, and 3 brothers, James, Louis and Dan. A memorial service will be held in the spring at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport.
