DEXTER - Barbara Anne Laferriere, 76, passed peacefully Thursday, March 14, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born July 11, 1942 in Dexter, a daughter of Clatus and Jeanette (Chabot) Clukey. She graduated from Dexter High School, Class of 1960. Barbara was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter. She retired from Bud's Shop N Save after many years.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Roy of Dexter; her children, Laurie and husband Bruce Hathaway of Corinna; Michael and wife Susan of Dexter, and their children, Heather and husband Greg Molind of Massachusetts, and Hillary Laferriere of New Hampshire; Kimberly and husband Patrick Kelley, and their children Taylor and Colin of Massachusetts; Kevin and wife Tammy and their children Morgan and Ryan of Auburn; 2 special great grandchildren, Hadley and Hannah Molind; siblings, twin sister Sandra Russell and husband John, Jerry Clukey and wife Susan, Neil Clukey and wife Anne, all of Dexter, Nancy Roy and husband Art of Corinna, Wayne Clukey and Barbara Steller of Florida, John Clukey of Dover, Joseph Clukey and wife Fay of North Carolina, Jim Clukey and wife June of Ripley; aunts Rita Clukey and Florence Gould, both of Dexter; special in-laws, Joel and Sandy Laferriere of Windham, Betty Laferriere of Dexter, Julie Stathoplos of Kennebunk and Annette Jackson of Florida; and countless beloved nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 A.M. Saturday, March 23rd, at St. Annes Church, Free Street, Dexter, with the Rev. Father Richard Lupo and Deacon David Denbow officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 122 State Street, Augusta, ME 04330. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
