Betty L. Hazlett

DEXTER - Betty Hazlett, 87, died September 29, 2022. She was born April 1, 1935 in Glenburn, a daughter of Manzer and Elvena (Gray) Woodard. Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter. Her hobbies included fishing, cooking and camping.

She is survived by her children, Richard of Hampden, Paul of Florida, Carol Seekins, Rose Lancaster, and an adopted daughter, Brenda Marchant, all of Dexter; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Davis of Bangor; and a dear friend, Ella Hunter. She was predeceased by her husband Herbert, a daughter, Mary Dudley, and a number of brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, October 4th, at the First Baptist Church, Main Street Hill, Dexter, with the Rev. Andrew Bermudez officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal.
