SAINT ALBANS - Carl Dorsey, 83, died April 10, 2022 at his residence. He was born April 6, 1939 in Fall River, MA, a son of John and Lillian (Medieros) Dorsey. After high school and one year of college he served in the U. S. Army during the Cuban missile crisis. He was a police officer and the town's first detective in Swansea, MA. After moving with his late wife Gale to the twin mountains in Carroll, NH, they owned and operated Twin Mountain Motors for 20 years. He moved to Maine in 2022, enjoying his retirement, and loved the people here and the western mountains. He is survived by his true companion, Jeanne Gale, of St. Albans; a brother Clifford of Seekonk, MA; and a sister, Gloria Fitzsimmons, of Raynham, MA. Interment will be at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a late date. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
