Carleton "Cal" Garnett NORTH NEWPORT - Carleton L. Garnett, 76, died November 28, 2018. He was born March 6, 1942 in North Newport, a son of Norman and Barbara (Gray) Garnett. He graduated from Corinna Union Academy and worked at the Dexter Shoe Company in Dexter for over 40 years. He is survived by 3 daughters, Judith Garnett of Brewer, Kathy Turner of Exeter, NH, Bonny and husband Mike Harris of Newport; 2 sisters, Vivian and husband Llewellyn "Punky" Wilson of Newport, and Candace Beem of Exeter; 2 granddaughters, Katie Wowk and Madison Harris. He was predeceased by his wife Carol. At his request, there will be no services at this time. Spring committal services will be held at North Newport Cemetery. Carleton requested that memorial donations be made to the Newport or Corinna Fire Departments. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
