NEWBURGH - Carlton O. Fergerson, 83, died October 7, 2021 at his residence. He was born January 6, 1938 in East Machias, a son of John and Hulda (Holmes) Fergerson. He worked for Eastern Fine Paper in Brewer for 32 years and loved hunting, fishing, and the Red Sox. He is survived by 3 sons, Michael and wife Melanie Fergerson of Cutler, Mark Fergerson and Ward Bond, both of Newburgh; a daughter, Lori and husband Brian Barrows of Palmyra; a stepdaughter, Omar Grace of Brewer; 2 sisters, Mary Fergerson, Stella and husband Bernard Porter, all of Lubec; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter. Carlton was predeceased by his wife Priscilla; a sister Lettie Harmon, a brother John and a stepbrother Larson Beverly. No services are scheduled.
