DEXTER - Carol (French) Hubbell, 81, died September 3, 2018 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born November 29, 1936 in Bristol, CT, a daughter of Harold and Pauline (Pease) French. She graduated from the University of Connecticut . She was married to the late Robert Hubbell. She and her husband raised their children on a farm in Woodbridge, CT for 21 years before moving to Dexter for 29 years. As part of the Dexter community she was employed at the Sew n Sew Coffee Shop and later at Tillson's True Value Hardware.

She is survived by 3 sons, William and Sandy Hubbell of Oregon, Richard Hubbell of CT, John and Samantha Hubbell of Hermon; a daughter, Karen and Richard Stone of Dexter; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.

There will not be any local services. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Pleasant Valley, CT on October 13, 2018. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
