CORINNA--Carol Ann King, 78, died May 24, 2016 in the comfort of her home. She was born October 28, 1937 in Dexter a daughter of George and Marion (Woodard) Small. Carol graduated from N. H. Fay High School, Class of 1956. Carol was employed as a secretary at Dexter Shoe and the SAD 48 school district. She enjoyed crafting and exhibited at craft shows. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Dexter.

She is survived by her husband Irving Wayne King of Corinna; 1 daughter Cindy Young of Dexter; her siblings, Laurel and wife Debbie Small, Gloria and husband Merton Macomber, Wendell and wife Carol Small, Dale and husband Gerald Hewitt, Judy Martin, Janice and husband Bob Shank; 3 grandchildren, Miranda and husband Guy Wycoff, Joseph and wife Hannah Young, and Renee and husband Jacob Hafenecker; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother George and her son John Hartley.

Funeral services will be held 11 A. M. Friday, May 27th at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main Street, Dexter, with the Rev. Andrew Spohrer officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 130 Spring Street, Dexter, ME 04930.
