NEWPORT - Carol Tozier, 76, died July 10, 2020 at her residence after a brief illness. She was born July 7, 1944 in Bath, the daughter of Clarence and Daisy (Hussey) Morton. She was a graduate of Newport High School.
Carol was an officer in the Daughters of the Nile, Ankh Temple # 160, Bangor. She was Nana to everyone. She was the bookkeeper at T & W Garage for 49 years and was devoted her family's business. She was fun loving, energetic, and a hugger always placing family first. Carol was a great cook, a good listener, an Elvis fanatic, and a lover of flowers and plants. You could always count on her especially when you showed up with wounds and needed her first aid skills. She loved to vacation with her family and friends in the Caribbean.
Carol is survived by her children, Michael and wife Jodi Tozier of Newport; Lisa Tozier and fiance Brian Rousseau of Malden, MA, Heather and husband Bradley Vanadestine of Palmyra; grandchildren Rachael and husband Corey Peete, Austin Tozier, and Xavier Rowe; great grandchildren, Connor and Claire.
Graveside committal services for Carol and her late husband Kevin will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, August 14th, at Riverside Cemetery, Newport, with the Rev. Stan Griffin officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kasey Lander Memorial Fund, 23 Elm Street, Newport, ME 04953. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
