Carole Ferry Green PLYMOUTH -Daughter of Robert and Marjorie Ferry, born on February 11, 1944, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 11, 2023. Carole was raised on the family farm where she enjoyed working alongside her parents. She graduated from Newport High School, Class of 1962. She then became a bank teller where she thoroughly enjoyed working and created many long-lasting friendships. She also worked several years at Friend & Friend Oil Company before returning to banking. Upon retirement Carole spent many years with her family running the vegetable stand at The Ferry Farm. She spent her entire life devoted to and spending time with her family. Carole is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Ronnie Green, Sr.; her son, Ronnie Green, Jr. and wife Emily; daughter Lanci Costain and husband Dan; grandchildren, Josh Costain, Ashely Nickerson and husband Scott, Kathryn Green and boyfriend Zac Poirier, Chelsea Poirier and husband Tyler; great-grandchildren Madalynn, Nadalie, Kayleigh, Harper, Piper, Lainey, Hadlee and Liam; and her devoted dog Coy. Friends are invited to call on Sunday, April 16th from 1:30 - 3:30 P.M. at the Newport Masonic Lodge, 265 Moosehead Trail Newport. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Anah Shriners at 1404 Broadway, Bangor, ME 04401, as Carole devoted many years to several Shrine charities, Eastern Star, The Sunshine Club and Daughters of the Nile.
