Obituary

DEXTER - Charlotte Freeborn, 78, died March 3, 2020 at a Pittsfield hospital following a long illness. She was born August 15, 1941 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, a daughter of George and Mildred (Snooks) Bardsley. She worked as a Certified Nurses Aide in Canada and the United States. Charlotte was a loving mother and loved people. She was a member of the O.E.S. Quilting Club and was an avid arts and crafts person. She is survived by her husband Claude of Dexter; 1 son, Patrick and wife Audrey Perry of Nova Scotia; 3 daughters, Jaye Perry of Ontario, Coleen Murphy of Florida, and Shannon Pritchet of Washington State; a brother Arthur Bardsley of Nova Scotia; and a sister Jean Burke of Alberta; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren. Interment will be in Canada in the spring. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
