ETNA - Clair H. Carter, 68, died May 20, 2022 at his residence. He was born March 5, 1954 in Bangor, a son of Clair S. and Ruth (Lyons) Carter.

He is survived by his wife Ann (Gould) Carter of Etna; 2 sons, Clay and wife Michelle of Winthrop and Dustin of Etna; a daughter, Dawn and husband Jeffrey of Hampden; 3 sisters, Joan and husband Charlie Henderson of Etna, Patricia Pearl of Palmyra, Linda and husband Mike Guidi of Gorham; 5 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Ronald. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
