DEXTER - Courtney Lynn Nadeau, 32, died Dec. 18, 2018 at Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was born Nov. 27, 1986 in Dover-Foxcroft, a daughter of Darren Weeks and Lori (White) Ricker, and Ronald Nadeau. She graduated from Piscataquis Community High School, Class of 2003.
Courtney will be remembered for starting the Addiction and Recovery Facebook Page, which now has over 3,000 followers. She had a very kind heart and loved children and animals.
She is survived by her fathers, Darren and wife Alice, Ronald Nadeau and wife Jackie, all of Cambridge; her mother, Lori Ricker and husband Rick of Dexter; her maternal grandmother, Janice Brawn and husband Dale of Albion; maternal grandfather, Porter White of Dexter; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Shirley Nadeau of Parkman; her God mother, Vicki Gould of Parkman; a son, Dhonte Shorey of Jackson; 2 daughters, Qianna Nadeau of Guilford, and Arianna Nadeau of Cambridge; 3 brothers, Mitchel Noyes of Guilford, Darren Weeks, Jr. of Exeter, and Jacob Nadeau of Cambridge; 4 sisters, Brittany Nadeau of Guilford, Cindy Currier of Bangor, Meagan Weeks of Sangerville, and Kristin Clark of Winslow; her significant other, Freddie Davidson of Dexter; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Susan Weeks, and God father, Marty Woodard, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, Dec. 29th, at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main Street, Dexter. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Gary's House, 97 State Street, Portland, ME 04101.
