Stetson – Dan Edward Wagner Sr. passed away suddenly on September 24, 2026. He was born on October 7, 1947 in Pen Argyl, PA to Edward and Betty (Parry) Wagner.

Dan graduated from Bangor Area High School in 1965 in Bangor, PA. Shortly after graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy. He worked a variety of occupations throughout his life.

Dan moved to Maine in 1995 and settled in Stetson with his wife in 1998.

Dan is survived by his wife of 26 years, Brenda (Shean) Wagner; his three sons, Dan Wagner Jr. of Greenville, SC, Brian Wagner of Arlington, VA, and Michael Wagner of Easley, SC; his two brothers Tom Wagner of Easton, PA, and Tim Wagner of Easton, PA; his two sisters Vicki Lieb of Tataney, PA, and Susan Wagner of Bath, PA; his seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 12:00pm to 1:00PM with a funeral service immediately following at 1:00pm on Monday, October 5, at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home; 117 Main St, Newport, ME 04953.
