Dana Louise Cronin, 82, passed away peacefully at her home in Dexter, Maine. She was born on April 16, 1943, on Long Island, New York, and was raised in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Dante Victor Morel and Evelyn Louise (Muggie) Morel.
Dana graduated from San Bernardino High School in June of 1966 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland, followed by a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York in 1974. She also attended the College of Nursing and devoted her professional life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse until her retirement. In addition to her nursing career, Dana proudly served in the Army National Guard, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
On August 26, 1972, Dana married Gordon L. Cronin Jr. on Long Island, New York. Together they shared over 51 years of marriage.
Dana loved animals and was an avid reader. She enjoyed kayaking, had a passion for cars, and above all, dedicated her life to her family, whom she loved deeply.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gordon L. Cronin Jr.; her son, Gordon L. Cronin III; and her sister, Catherine Mary Noga.
