Obituary

GARLAND - Daniel Russell Desell, (Grampycakes) 58, died unexpectedly on September 19, 2018 in Garland. He was born on July 28,1960 in Methuen, MA, a son of the late Louis F. Desell (Bucky) and the late Theresa (Pelletier) Desell. He was employed many years in the moving business in Massachusetts; and as a painter and handyman in Florida and Maine. Danny enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, working with his hands and was a good friend to many. He is survived by his son, Daniel Coon and his wife Amanda, of Maryland; stepdaughters Ruthann Williams and her husband Jason of Garland, Krystal Gustin and her fiance Ryan of Bangor, Elizabeth Parker and her husband Peter of Brooklin; stepmother Theresa (Dube) Desell, of New Hampshire; sisters Denise & Allen Farris Diana & Eugene Casey, all of Massachusetts; Judy & Norman Royce, Joyce & Peter Seigler and Kathy & Paul LeBlanc, all of New Hampshire; brothers Louis G. Desell, John & Cheri Slauter and Paul & Debra Slauter, all of Massachusetts. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Briana Williams of Massachusetts, Krystalynn Williams of Maine, Chloe Dean of Maryland, Madysen Gustin of Maine, Justin Williams of Maine, Zaiden Williams of Maine, William Coon of Maryland, Schyler Parker of Maine, Sherisa Williams of Maine, Grysin Parker of Maine, Brylei Shepherd of Maine, and Jace Parker of Maine; and two great grandchildren, Vincent Hernandez and Adriana Hernandez, both of Massachusetts; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, and brother David Desell. In accordance with Danny's wishes there will be a private Celebration of Life at a later time. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
