Daniel Charles Dutile, 67, died February 10, 2020 at his residence. He was born February 27, 1952 in Lowell, MA, a son of Frederick and Rosemary (Dugan) Dutile. Dan had an Associate's degree in electronics and served in the U. S. Navy. He worked as a master electrician and retired as the environmental technician at Pine Tree and Juniper Ridge landfills. Dan enjoyed hunting and spending time at camp fishing.
He is survived by his loving companion, Evelyn Ricker of Plymouth; 2 sons, Adam Dutile and partner Sarah Field and Nate Dutile, all of Buxton; 2 step children, Marc Ricker of Corinna and Rachel Carleton of Carmel; 1 brother, Larry and wife Sheila Dutile of TN; 2 grandchildren, Dustin Ricker and Olivia Carleton; several nieces and nephews.
Dan was predeceased by 2 brothers, Frederick and Tim; and a sister Margaret "Peg".
Military funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, February 15th, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, with Pastor Al Worden officiating. Friends may call from 10 A.M until the time of services. Spring burial will be in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta.
