David Vautier
HARMONY - David Vautier, 76, died March 14, 2023 at his residence. He was born August 15, 1946 in Camden, New Jersey, a son of David and Doris (Ulrich) Vautier, Sr. David served on the police force in the Camden area for 11 years. After moving to Maine in 1981, he worked as a welder for several companies. He then became self-employed and well known locally doing a lot of welding for others in his own shop. He was artistic and creative having made the ribbons for the memorial bridge in Harmony.
David loved to hunt and fish and taught these skills to his grandchildren. He built his own log cabin and lived his dream here in Maine.
He is survived by his wife Deborah (Taylor); 3 sons, David, John and Matthew; a daughter Donna Rickert; a brother Duane; 2 sisters Deborah Kozarski and Denice O'Donnell; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his daughter Lisa Alt, and his sister Doris Young.
There will be no services. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
