DEXTER - Diane (LaFrance) Lessard, 62, died September 15, 2020 at a Bangor hospital. She was born February 23, 1958 in Dexter, a daughter of Emile and Marie (Tyler) LaFrance. She worked in shoe manufacturing and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dexter and the Shirley B. Carter Post # 4298 V.F.W. in Dexter. She left a positive impact on everyone she met. Diane enjoyed gardening, canning and loved her cats. She is survived by her significant other Albert Sawtelle of Dexter; her children, Michelle Bruce of Bangor, Jamie Sawtelle, Albert Sawtelle, II, both of Ripley, Laura Sawtelle and Jeremy Sawtelle both of Dexter; a brother, Steven LaFrance of Dexter; a sister, Gloria Girardin of Lewiston; 3 grandchildren, Tori Moulton, Lauren Bruce, Richard Bennett and several other grandchildren and great grandchildren. A private service will be held at the family residence. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
