Diane G. Mailhot, 74, of Dexter, Maine, passed away peacefully at her home on November 30, 2025. She was born on June 3, 1951, in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of the late Gerard J. and Rita Y. (St. Laurent) Godbout. Diane was educated in Manchester, New Hampshire, and graduated from St. Mary's High School.
Diane is lovingly remembered by her two children, Ginette Fosher and her husband, Robert, of Tucson, Arizona, and Jason Mailhot and his wife, Daisy, of Dexter, Maine. She was the proud grandmother of Brendan Fosher and his wife, Sarosa, Mary Bateman and her husband, Kristopher, and Rita Mailhot, and the cherished great-grandmother of Luna Fosher and Watson Fosher. She is also survived by several siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Diane devoted many years of her life to caring for others as a Licensed Nursing Assistant, retiring after 20 years of dedicated service. In her retirement, she took great joy in collecting recipes, preparing meals for her family, and spending time with her children and grandchildren, whom she adored.
In keeping with Diane's wishes, no public funeral services will be held.
