PALMYRA & WATERVILLE - Dick Earl Raymond, Sr., 47, died April 8, 2015 at his aunt's residence in Anson.

He was born September 18, 1967 in Skowhegan, a son of Dwayne and Valerie (Wyman) Raymond. He worked as a builder making pre-fab garages at a lumber yard until he was diagnosed with a terminal illness. He was a past member of the Boy Scouts, loved country music and his many friends.

Dick is survived by his parents, Dwayne Raymond of Palmyra, and Valerie and husband Godfrey Dulac of Chelsea; a son, Dick, Jr. of Winslow; 2 daughters, Heather Raymond of Waterville, and Valerie Hodgdon of Bridgton; 3 step-daughters, Carmen, Ciji and Tia; a brother, Dwayne, Jr. and wife Sheila of Augusta; a sister, Michelle and husband Robert Lucas of Readfield; 9 grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family especially wants to thank his aunt, Georgette Gordon, Peter Graves, and Holly at Maine General Hospice.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, April 18th, at the Palmyra Consolidated School, Route 2, Palmyra, with the Rev. Mark Tanner officiating. Burial will be later in the spring at Chelsea Heights Cemetery, Chelsea.
