PLYMOUTH - Donald Keith Burpee, 75, died August 28, 2021 at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born September 14, 1945 in Hartland, a son of Harold and Leona (Emery) Burpee. Donald graduated from Newport High School and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for H.P. Hood Company, Eastland Woolen Mill and Guilford Industries. He enjoyed gardening and animals. Donald is survived by a brother Robert, his wife Laurel, their daughter Jennifer and husband David; 4 nieces and 2 nephews. He was predeceased by a brother David, a sister Sandra, and a special friend Margie Colgan. Private graveside services will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Newport.
