DETROIT - Donald was born in Haverhill, MA September 29, 1941 and left this world to join his parents David and Amy (Phillips) Chute in Heaven on December 2, 2020. He suffered many years with multiple illnesses. He attended school in Haverhill, MA and moved to Maine after marrying his wife in 1971. He loved living in Maine where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his sons and friends.

He is survived by his wife Deborah of Detroit; 2 sons Don and wife Crystal of Pittsfield and Ron and wife Amy of Union, KY; 2 daughters, Lisa and husband Robert Schiavoni and Cecile and husband Matt Ellsworth of New Hampshire; grandsons, Kaleb and Colby Chute; granddaughters, Venessa Chute, Lindsey and husband Sam Dix, Mary and husband Jeremy Collins and Kayla Schiavoni; great grandchildren Camden and Gracelynn Dix and Daisy and Violet Collins, all of NH; brothers Harry (Roseann) of Methuen, MA, Philip (Judy) of Waterville and Timothy of Cracut, MA; mother and father in law Clayton and Marilyn Hunt of Pittsfield.

Donald was predeceased by brothers Robert, David and Richard Chute; sisters Eleanor Tremblay and Bessie Williams.

A celebration of life will be held in the summer at a time to be announced. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
