NEWPORT & LINCOLN - Donald Anthony Olsen, 62, died unexpectedly April 7, 2022 at his Newport residence. He was born April 15, 1959 in Lincoln, a son of Donald and Pauline (Gratten) Olsen. He graduated from Mattanawcook Academy and served in the U. S. Navy aboard the U. S. S. Forrestal. After the service he drove truck for years for a number of companies. He enjoyed fishing on Upper Pond and was very much involved in the lives of family and friends. He is survived by his twins, Donald and wife Sheree Olsen of Newport, and Dawn Olsen of Lincoln; a nephew, Melvin Olsen of Chester; and 8 grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held in the near future. A family graveside committal will be held in June at the Ridge Cemetery in Enfield. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
