Dustin "Dusty" Skidgel Obituary (1988

ST. ALBANS & MARKHAM, VA - Dustin "Dusty" Skidgel, 29, died August 23, 2017 in Virginia. He was born February 10, 1988 in Waterville, a son of Maurice Gould and Tammy Skidgel. Dusty graduated from Nokomis Regional High, Class of 2006, and the Dexter Regional Vocational Center studying law enforcement with his friend and mentor Steve Spaulding. He served in the U. S. Army, and, with the G.I. Bill, received a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. At the time of his death he was 4 months away from receiving his Master's Degree in his chosen field. He was a member of Corinthian Chapter # 95 Masonic Lodge in Hartland. He is survived by his mother and step father Tammy and Christopher Russell; his father and step mother Maurice and Danielle Gould, all of Hartland; his fiancee with whom he was to marry in September, Mandy Quarry of Markham, VA; 2 sons, Dominick and Cooper Skidgel of Virginia; 5 brothers, Brent and wife Megan Russell of Texas, Hunter Dyer, Blake Russell, Nicholas Gould, and Brandon Gould all of Hartland; a sister, Carly Russell of Hartland; maternal grandparents, Darlene and Kermit Badger of St. Albans; maternal grandmother, Bonnie Tweedie of Palmyra; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Dusty was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Carl "PaPa" Olson, Sr. and his paternal grandfather, Lysle Gould. A graveside committal service will be held 11 A. M., Friday, September 1st at Palmyra Village Cemetery with Pastor Al H. Worden officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to benefit his sons, c/o Tammy Russell, P. O.
