DEXTER - Edna Vandemark, 85, died September 5, 2021 at her residence. She was born October 1, 1935 in Danbury, Ct, a daughter of Arthur and Sadie (Roy) Jennings. After graduating from high school she received a CNA degree in the 1980's.

Edna most enjoyed being a mother, but also enjoyed animals, shopping, reading, games and crafts. She held a number of jobs, but the one she found most rewarding was caring for babies at a day care facility.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Linda Ritland and Terri Vandemark, both of Dexter, Susan and husband Peter Linscott of Vassalboro; 3 grandchildren, Eric and Kristen Linscott and Anna Ritland. Edna was predeceased by her husband, Martin Vandemark, Jr., and 7 brothers and sisters.

A graveside funeral and committal service will be held 1 P.M. Wednesday, September 15th, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, with the Rev. Jerett Olson officiating. Memorial donations may be made to an animal shelter of your choice. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
