DEXTER & SIDNEY - Elaine Rose (Thompson) Woodbury, 77, died August 11, 2021 at a Sidney assisted living center. She was born August 12, 1943 in Dexter a daughter of Lawrence and Hilda (Pearl) Thompson. After graduating from high school she worked at Dexter Shoe Company. She will be remembered for her many ceramics crafts.

She is survived by her significant other, William Woodbury of Dexter; 2 sons, Larry Woodbury of Bangor and Glenn Gray of Dixmont; a brother, Otis Woodbury of Newington, CT; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece and nephew Beverly and husband Rob Porter of Brewer.

Graveside committal services will be held at 1 P.M. Friday, August 20th at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, with the Rev. Lyman Curtis officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter. Memorial donations may be made to the Bella Point Patient Activity Fund, 888 Pond Road, Sidney, ME 04330.
