DEXTER - Elizabeth (Cole) Krista, 69, died April 3, 2020 at a Bangor hospital. She was born November 19, 1950 in Jersey City, NJ, a daughter of Francis and Ann (Johnn) Cole, Sr. She graduated from Jersey City State College, Class of 1972, with a B.A. in Education and spent 42 years teaching for the Archdiocese of Newark, New Jersey.
Elizabeth was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Our Lady of the Snows Parish, a member of the Dexter Sunshine Club and a former member of the Dexter School Board.
In addition to her mother of Dover-Foxcroft, she is survived by her husband of 47 years, Kevin Krista of Dexter; 2 brothers, Frank Cole of Sangerville, and John and wife Shirley Cole of Naples, FL; 4 sisters in law, Carol and Mary Cole, Susan Krista, Kathleen and husband Thomas Mahon, Sr.; nieces Cathleen, Christine, Marybeth, Erin and Ellie; nephews Francis, John, Brian, Sean, Robert, Lewis, Thomas, Jr., Ryan, Jeffrey and Michael.
She was predeceased by her brother Robert Cole.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anne's Church, Dexter, once the pandemic has passed. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
