CORINNA - Elizabeth "Betty" Paradis, 79, died November 1, 2021 at a Pittsfield hospital. She was born April 29, 1942 in Dexter, a daughter of Earl and Velma (Withee) Woodbury. She was married to the late Kenneth Paradis on March 10, 1972. She was employed at Dexter Shoe Company for 15 years and while living in CT worked for the Lee Company making components for medical equipment and the space shuttle. After retiring in Dexter she worked at Annie's Pizza. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and loved interior decorating and crafts. She loved to cook, especially her children's favorite, baked stuffed mushrooms. She is survived by 5 children, Ron and wife Kelli Richardson, David and wife Lisa Richardson, Steven and wife Colleen Richardson, Robbie Richardson, and Cathy Jo Paradis; sister Victoria and husband Glen Manning; brothers and their wives, Earl and Roberta Woodbury, Michael and Deborah Woodbury, Christopher and Kathy Woodbury; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Ronald K. Richardson, Sr.; her second husband Kenneth Paradis; and her sister Pamela Thompson. Funeral services will be held 1 P. M. Friday, November 5th, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport. Friends may call from noon until the time of services. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
