John became an attorney and Betty oversaw his law practice in Schenectady. After John's passing in 1979, Betty worked for MTI, the National Judicial College, and The Lawrence Group. She was a member of the New York State Legal Professionals Association. Betty later married Philip Plummer, and they shared their time between Schenectady, NY and Abbott, Maine. Betty loved her family beyond anything else. Her sweet spirit lit up the room and her kindness to all was her superpower. She was always smiling, was an amazing cook, and made the best biscuits around. To honor our sweet mom and Nana, just hug your family and friends and tell them you love them. The family would like to share their profound gratitude to those that made a tremendous difference in her life and care including Selena Fogg, Rebecca Dill, CNA, Ashley Emery, RN, Northern Light Home Care & Hospice, and Margo and Bobby Titus. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
