CORINNA- Enola G Cookson, 70, died June 5th, 2024, at Bangor Hospital. She was born June 27th, 1953, in Hartland, Maine to Royce Irving Payne and Beryl Lila Pratt-Payne Enola was a retired CNA/CRMA, previously worked at Eastland Woolen Mill and graduated from Nokomis Regional Highschool. She enjoyed being a part of the Central Maine Country Music Assoc and Ladies Auxiliary. Enola enjoyed going to music jams, dancing, fishing, 4 wheeling, spending time with her family, playing cards and always had a puzzle going on the card table. Enola is survived by her two younger brothers: Roger Payne of Garland, ME and Ronal Payne of Pittsfield, ME. She is also survived by her daughter Hallie E Pomeroy of Ashland, NH, her son Mark a Pomeroy of W Gardiner, ME, A Stepson, William Cookson of Dexter, ME, three granddaughters and a great granddaughter in NH. A graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant in Dexter on Aug 23rd, 2024, at 11:30am.
