PARSIPPANY, NJ- Eric David Huff, 45, passed away at Morristown Memorial Hospital on July 12, 2014. Eric, known to his friends and family as Ardie, was born in Denville, NJ on October 8, 1968 to Joyce and Duane Huff.

Eric spent most of his life in Parsippany, NJ, graduating from Parsippany Hills H.S. in 1987 and from Johnson Technical Institute in Scranton, PA in 1990. He worked as a carpenter and as a landscape laborer, until an accident in 1995 left him a double amputee of his legs, confining him to a wheelchair for the remainder of his life.

Eric's last residence has been the Brookside Senior Citizens complex in Parsippany, NJ, where he was well liked and well recognized by administration and other tenants for many years, as well as many Parsippany residents.

Eric is survived by his father, Duane (Kathleen) Huff of Guilford, ME and Delray Beach, FL; and his siblings; Karen (Tim) Abel of Hendersonville, TN; Michael (Amy) Huff of San Diego, CA; Steve (Joy) Huff of Merritt Island, FL; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. His best friend for much of his life, Darrin Dinapoli, will miss Eric tremendously.

Eric was predeceased by his mother, Joyce Lander Huff.

A graveside service is planned for August 9, 2014, at the Elmwood Cemetery in Guilford, Maine at 11:00 am, with Deacon Fred Harrigan officiating. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that those who wish should donate to the charity of their choice in Eric's Memory. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Guilford, ME.
