Eugene H. Stocker EXETER - Eugene "Gene" Stocker, 89, went home to be with the Lord on September 14, 2022. Gene was born February 13, 1933 in Exeter, a son of Elmer H. and Frances M. (Crowell) Stocker. He attended Exeter schools and graduated from Corinna Union Academy in 1952. Gene served in the Army during the Korean War (1953 -1954.) He married his high school sweetheart, the former Mildred Partridge, in 1955. He drove a trailer truck for many years, retiring in 1994 from Liquid Carbonic. Gene was a hard worker for his family and a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church of Exeter, where he served as an usher. He loved his church and it was a very important part of his life. He was always there to help in any way that he could. He is survived by his wife of Exeter; his children, Jacalyn and husband Earl Eberly of Aurora, OR, Janice and husband Toby Keyser of Haverhill, MA and Russell of Hermon; a son in law, Randy Campbell of Bangor; one brother, Richard Stocker and wife Rose; 11 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter Barbara Campbell and his sister Maralyn and husband Robert Weymouth. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal.
