PALMYRA & RIPLEY - Florence L. Brawn, 87, died October 11, 2022 at a Plattsburgh, NY hospital. She was born December 23, 1934 in Ripley a daughter of Roy and Beatrice (Tewksbury) Sevey. She graduated from Dexter High School, Class of 1953, and worked at Banton's Mill in Newport. She will be remembered as a devoted loving wife, homemaker and patient mother. She is survived by 3 sons, Galen of Glenburn, Glenn of Beekmantown, NY and Darryl of Madawaska; 2 daughters, Sandra Brawn of Winslow, Sharon and husband Roger Card of Fairfield; a brother Clyde Sevey of Benton; a sister, Dorothy Hutchins of Ripley; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren. Florence was predeceased by a daughter, Lorraine Kitchin, and a sister, Marion Connors. There will be no services at this time. Burial will be in the Morses Corner Cemetery, Corinna, at a later date. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal.
