Obituary

DEXTER - Frances Luella (Caird) Cookson, 83, died November 4, 2018 at her residence. She was born November 17, 1934 in Cambridge a daughter of Eva Caird. She worked as a nanny and housekeeper for many years. She is survived by a daughter Phyllis Lounder and husband Larry of Garland; 2 grandsons, Carl and wife Becky Cobb of Corinna and Bill and wife Amber Cobb of Sangerville; 5 great grandchildren, Joey Knox, Fischer, Tyrus, Jerimiah, and Cameron Cobb; 2 brothers, Ellsworth, who was her caregiver, Benny and wife Diane Perkins, all of Dexter; a sister, Lois and husband James Wing of Garland; 2 nieces, 4 nephews. Frances was predeceased by her mother and brothers Lewis and Clarence God took another angel home. She is now pain free and with her loved ones waiting for her. She was one of the original workers for Burt's Bees, a nanny, house cleaner and later became Grammie to all of her grandsons and great grandsons. We will all miss you mother, Nan, Amie and Nana Lollipop. Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main Street, Dexter, where funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, Nov. 9th, with Pastor Isaiah Hill officiating. Burial will at the Corinthian Cemetery, Corinth.
