Frances T. Massow SAINT ALBANS – Frances T. Massow, 76, died August 28, 2023 at an Augusta hospital. She was born May 17, 1947 in Bristol, CT, a daughter of Albert and Helen Massarelli. Frances leaves behind her husband Fred E. Massow of St. Albans; two children, Jeffrey Fruchtenicht and wife Jessica of Bristol, CT, Fred A. Massow and wife Candy of Tucson, AZ; four grandchildren, Addison Fruchtenicht, Joseph, Victor and Michael Massow; two stepchildren, Billy Massow (Jen) and Heather Massow; several nieces and nephews Frances worked in the banking industry for most of her life. She started work at CT Bank and Trust in Hartford, CT before moving to Maine and working for Bangor Savings Bank. She then worked for Hollywood Casino in Bangor before retiring. Fran was an avid cook and loved spoiling her grandchildren. She had four siblings, Gerald Massarelli, Jr. of Southington, CT and Ray Rudzinski of Bristol, CT; and 2 that predeceased her, Thomas Massarelli and Marie Roberts. Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Tuesday at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Windsor, CT. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Windsor, CT. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
