NEWPORT - Frank Tozier, 83, died February 12, 2019 at the Maine Veterans' Home in Bangor surrounded by his family. He was born December 21, 1935 in Jackson, a son of Charles and Jenny (Taylor) Tozier. He graduated from Searsport High School and served in the U. S. Army. Frank retired from Blue Rock Industries and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He is survived by 2 daughters, Lisa and husband Walter "Tobey" Kress of Liberty, Holly Tozier of Bangor; 4 brothers, Robert of Saco, Fremont of Searsport, Joel of Swanville, and Oscar of NH; 2 sisters, Marilyn Harvey of Searsport and Janice Bardeleben of VT; 5 grandchildren, Amanda Emery, Michael Burnham, Aaron Kress, Kathleen Gordon and Rebecca O'Keefe; 4 great grandchildren, Ethan and Autumn Emery, Alesha and Dontae Burnham; special "adopted" children, Deanna Thompson and children, Jade Morse and Shawn Thompson, Mark Davis, Starr Stuart and Donna Dunphy. He was predeceased by a son, Joseph Tozier; 2 sisters, Joyce and Jolene; and a brother Everett. A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4 P.M. Saturday, February 16th at the Newport Public Safety Building, 21 Water Street, Newport. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Maine Veterans' Home Activities Fund, 44 Hogan Road, Bangor, ME 04401. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
