NEWPORT - George William Curtis, Jr., 59, died November 26, 2020 at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born October 6, 1961 in Bangor a son of George and Doreen (Olsson) Curtis, Sr.

Billy loved his son and grandbaby more than anything. He also loved hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his son George William Curtis III and wife Jennifer, and their son William Scott Curtis; brothers Fred Curtis and wife Denise, and Kenneth Curtis; sister Rita Curtis; cousin Richard Curtis; aunts Alice Haverly and Grace Dodge; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Curtis; his uncle Merle Curtis; and longtime friend Ronald "Hogie" Hogan; cousin Harold Dodge; and aunt Verna Curtis.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Spring burial will be in the Detroit Village Cemetery. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
