PITTSFIELD - Gerald Ellis, 88, died December 14, 2021 at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born October 15, 1933 in Skowhegan a son of Arthur and Marcia (Wyman) Ellis. He worked as a supervisor at several shoe manufacturing facilities and was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. Jake, as he was known, also served in the National Guard. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his children. He is survived by 3 sons and their wives, Sherwood and Connie of San Antonio, TX, Arthur and Janice, and Gary and Karen, all of Dexter; 2 daughters, Sharon and husband David Rowe of Benton and Tammy McCaw of Plymouth; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 4 P.M. Sunday, December 19th, at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1195 Stetson Road, Exeter, with the Rev. Stan Griffin officiating.
