Obituary

DEXTER - Geraldine Tremblay, 82, went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2019. She was born in Parkman, a daughter of Reginald and Dorothea (Smart) Melvin. She worked at Dexter Shoe, Bud's Red and White, and Fayscott Machine Shop. She was also a co-owner of Tremblay's Trailer Park. Geraldine enjoyed making porcelain dolls and painting. She is survived by her husband, Hubert Tremblay of Dexter; 3 sons, Reginald and Robert Young, both of Dexter, and Blaine of California; 2 step daughters, Joddi Swan of Lewiston and Kimberly Newton of Maryland; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by an infant son, Bradley Young; 2 brothers, Leon and Wayne Melvin. Graveside committal services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, July 20th, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation, 259 West 30th Street, New York, NY 10001. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
