DOVER-FOXCROFT- Gladys M. Patten, 90, died February 27, 2014 at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born April 14, 1923, in Amherst, NH, the daughter of Richard and Cevie (Towne) Weston.

She served in the US Army during WWII with the rank of Staff Sergeant. She worked for several years as a cook for Hilltop Boarding Home in Dover-Foxcroft.

She was predeceased by her husband, Irving W. Patten; 2 sons, Frank and Pete; and a brother, Roger Weston.

She is survived by a daughter, June Patten of VA; 2 sons, Donald Patten and his wife, Darlene of Milo, and Ronald Patten and his wife, Karen of Dover-Foxcroft; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Roberta Wilkins of NH, Nathalie Cast of NH, and Barbara Minor of CA; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside committal service will be held at the Dover Cemetery at 1 pm, June 14, 2014 with Pastor Ray Beless officiating.
