Dexter - Glen R. Garrity Sr. passed away unexpectedly on October 7, 2026.

Glen grew up and lived in Connecticut, but Maine was always close to his heart. With family roots there, he returned throughout his life, maintaining a deep connection to the place he loved. Maine was more than a destination; it was a part of who he was, a place where he felt at home and where his love for nature and the outdoors could truly flourish.

Glen cherished the beauty and freedom of the outdoors, along with his passions for photography, hunting and HAM radio. The woods, the landscapes, and the life Maine offered held a special meaning for him. After a lifetime of visiting and loving Maine, he was blessed to spend his final decade there, in the place that meant so much to him, surrounded by the natural beauty and outdoor life he had always cherished.

His faith in God became an important part of his later life, grounding the values and beliefs he carried with him throughout the years.

Glen is survived by his daughter, Michelle Sirois, and her husband, Jason; his son, Glen Garrity Jr., and his wife, Hollie; and grandson, Leo.

Though his passing was unexpected, the memories of Glen and the life he loved will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. His connection to Maine, his love of the outdoors, his faith, and the family he leaves behind will forever be part of his story.

A private service will be held by the family.
