CORINTH & STETSON -Glenace Underhill, 87, died May 15, 2022 at a Bangor hospital. She was born October 29, 1934 in Wesley, a daughter of Harvey and Ruth Roberts. She graduated from high school and attended Husson College. She was a florist by trade and operated a greenhouse. She was a woman of many talents including knitting, sewing, crocheting, and gardening. She was a member of the Sebasticook Garden Club and the Maine State Herb Society. Glenace was a 7th degree member, past grand marshall, past noble grand, past master and holder of the decoration of Chivalry with the Pleasant Lake, Stetson Rebekahs. She is survived by 3 sons, Randy and wife Jan of Wells, Rod and wife Lucy of Stetson, and Brad and wife Becky of Corinth; 2 daughters, Sue and husband Bob Maheu of South Portland, Doreen and husband John Simpson of Carmel; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandsons; as well as step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Glenace was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Arthur, a brother Dale and sister Vena. Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M Wednesday at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, where funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday with the Rev. Stan Griffin officiating.
