HARTLAND - Gloria Pelkie, 76, died November 21, 2019. She was born May 3, 1943 in Hartland, a daughter of Donald and Glenice (Perkins) Pelkie. She graduated from Hartland Academy in 1961.

She moved to CT and worked in the office of Rhodes Manufacturing, which manufactured parking meters and switches. After moving to Lewiston she worked as a bank teller up to branch manager at Northeast Bank. She served in the US. Army Reserves for 9 years. She also worked for the Maine Turnpike Authority before returning to Hartland to be near her family.

She is survived by her sister, Jacqueline and husband Foster Brooks; nephew, Rev. Kevin and wife Tammi Brooks; niece, Dawn and husband Randy Butler; nephew, Richard Brooks and wife Kimberly; and nephew Col. Mark Brooks and wife Sarah; 2 cousins Judy and Beverly who kept close contact with her.

There will be no services. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Hartland. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
