PALMYRA - Gordon Lester Herrick, 75, died March 27, 2022. He was born September 17, 1946 in Dover-Foxcroft, a son of Eliphalet and Catherine (Jones) Herrick. He graduated from PCHS in Guilford, Class of 1965, and graduated from the 5 year program at Mass. College of Pharmacy. He was employed in local pharmacies in central Maine and 13 years on Cape Cod, before retiring to Palmyra. He is survived by 4 brothers, Clinton of Dexter, Vernal and wife Anna Maria of Cambridge, Eliphalet, Jr. and wife Janet of Skowhegan, Wynne and wife Leslyn of Abbot; 1 sister, Rosalyn and husband Norman Campbell of Parkman; 2 sisters in law, Mary Herrick of Dexter, and Dorothy Herrick of South Carolina; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister and brother in law, Murlene and Al Kimball; and 2 brothers Gerald and Roland Herrick. At his request there will be no services. Private burial will be in the Pingree Center Cemetery, Parkman. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
