NEWPORT - Harold Small, 80, died December 14, 2021 at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born July 10, 1941 in Pittsfield, a son of Clarence and Edythe (White) Small. He graduated from Maine Central Institute, Class of 1959 and was employed as a handsewer at Northeast Shoe and Dexter Shoe. He also worked at Maine Central Railroad, General Electric in Pittsfield and retired from Webber Oil Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and 4 wheeling. Harold was a member and faithful worker at Deeper Life Assembly in Pittsfield and he also belonged to Central Maine Trailblazers. He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Harding) Small of Newport; a son, Denver and wife Karen Small of Pittsfield; a daughter Stacy Small of Skowhegan; a stepdaughter, Kimberly and husband Aaron Patterson of Indiana; a sister, Rosalie and husband Thomas O'Shea of Australia; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Harold was predeceased by his first wife Joan, an infant son Brady, a son Scott, a grandson Steven Parlin and a brother Rodney. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, December 20th, at Deeper Life Assembly, Pittsfield, with Pastor Matthew Bagley officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in the Powers Cemetery, Pittsfield.
